EFNEP

Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) assists low-income families and youth improve their health through proper diet and sound health practices. Bilingual field staff provides group teaching with Head Start and Healthy Start programs, ESL classes, pregnant/parenting teens, substance abuse clients, schools, churches, parks and recreation departments, and community centers. Teachers and other volunteers are trained as extenders to reach low-income youth.
